I decided i wanted a seat with a back on it on my 8n.So rather than go to the tractor supply i decided to go to wally world and get one of those nice gray plastic boat seats to match my 8n.After i got it screwed on i was bush hogging my pasture enjoying my new seat with a back.Then after a couple rounds of bouncing around i made a turn the next thing i knew i was setting on the rear axial hanging on to the steering wheel.The screws had pulled out of the plastic seat.Didn't take me long to put the pan seat back on it.
