I have a mid 1944 2n and am looking for an original data plate and also a lead to anyone that might have the exterior pre air cleaner head only. It will be attached on pipe and comes up through the hood. Its a rounded head with wire screen on bottom. Any help much appreciated and will be willing to pay fair price for either one. Getting ready to register this tractor along with photo very soon. Thanks for you help, all great info everyone has entered with their registration.

Yesterday I was looking at Just8N's for a data plate for my 1940 9N. I ordered my hood emblems a week ago. Your tractor being a 1944 2N is different only in that it has the 2N in the bottom of the Ford script emblem. Be sure to order the correct part.
As for your air cleaner, head only, I may have one, but I will have to verify it. Send me an e-mail and we can talk offline.
PS Where are you located?

An original data plate may be hard to find and pretty beat up. You can get a repro that is exactly like the factory data plate at Just 8Ns and probably Dennis Carpenter's site.

The extended air cleaner was a dealer accessory and I think are pretty rare.
