Also does anyone know wether the reproduction aluminum battery covers fit the steel hood tractors?

Don't think the aluminum hood cover will fit the steel hood because the steel hood opening has a lip around it the aluminum hood does not. Would you really want to spend the money on an aluminum hood cover which will cost well over $700
