  • I've bought a 716 Ford blade and I want 2 restore it to its original color and put decals on it where ever they are suppose to be. Does anyone have a couple of pictures they could email of one restored so I know what to go buy??Thanks in advance Eric

  • This series blade was sold from 1960 to the early 70's, I believe. Given that, early models would be Ford implement red and later models Ford blue, so if you don't have a manufacturer's tag with the serial number to indicate likely date of manufacture, you can paint it either color to suit your preference.

    Can't help you with decal placement, unfortunately. Just don't know.

  • George Bradish has the Ford script decal as used on implements from the Dearborn era up to the block letter style used starting in late 60s. I've seen the script on blades on the right rear side and the series/model number on the right rear side with the script on the left rear side. I've also seen both on the hitch A frame. HTH, SoS
