53 Jubilee hydraulic
Greetings. I have a 53 Jubilee and lately the hydraulic life has been less than stellar. It takes time to start lifting--usually with higher RPM's. Chatters when lifting. I believe I have a vane hydraulic as it sits on the right side of the block and is somewhat square. My question is, does the pump need to be rebuilt and if so, is there someplace to get this done as I am not the most handy with that sort of thing. I also see that there are replacement piston?? pumps that can be purchased and installed, however not sure if this is the better way to go as my tractor is mostly original. I had a problem with my electrical system earlier specifically points burning out and Bruce Haynes?? helped me out with the issue and it is now a non-issue---Thanks Bruce, I appreciate your help. Re: 53 Jubilee hydraulic
Have a look here - as good as if not better than the factory vane or piston pumps. No brag - just fact. TOH NCA600F-GPC

Re: 53 Jubilee hydraulic
I suggest you ask this on the regular N-BOARD as you may get more exposure and answers. Be sure you tell us where you are located as I'm sure there is someone near you who can help. I don't recommend buying a new pump --- usually junkers, and no need to -rebuild OEM always 1st choice on anything. Tim Daley(MI)
