    Here are four pages of information from the Ford Tractor Master Parts Catalog - 1953 thru 1958 showing the exploded view of the Rest-O-Ride seat and all the original parts and their numbers. The parts related to the R-O-R are shown in figure '15B'. It appears the R-O-R seat was standard equipment beginning in 1955.
