  • Front wheel 8N compatibility with NAA
  • I've got an early model 8N that somebody previous to me mounted a 5-lug 9/2N wheel on. I want to replace with the 6-lug wheel that is supposed to be on it. A neighbor of mine has a NAA with a blown engine that he wants to get rid of. Is the front end wheel assembly on the NAA compatible with the 8N without switching out the spindles? If not, are the NAA spindles compatible with the 8N? I've cross referenced the parts on line and it appears that the spindles are compatible. Additionally, are the rear tire rims between the two compatible?

Im going to do another post about this question, but maybe the folks reading this might be able to give me some advice.

A neighbor of mine has a NAA with a blown engine, hole in the block. I'm considering picking it up from him for parts on my 8Ns. I'm not really into NAAs.....is there a dent market for NAA parts?

  • Yes will swap as stated. If you buy it I would be interested in buying the trans if you are close by.

  • Yes. The front center axle, wheels, hubs, and spindles from a NAA will fit an 8N. And yes, the rear rims, tires, center discs, axle, hub, and brakes are the same too. Three point arm components and fenders also fit. Hydraulic lift and motor are not. Some transmission parts will fit as well, including the shift cover. Compatibility of other parts are hit and miss.

The NAA is the same tractor as the Golden Jubilee, 1953 was a Jubilee, 1954 a NAA.
