Rear Tires
I was given a 48 8N and we are almost done restoring, I have a tire questions. Should I add water to them if it will be used just for cutting grass and if so do I need to buy tubes or can I just fill the new tires with water? Thanks in advance, Larry

Re: Rear Tires
As said, if you are just mowing you can get by without added ballast - IF you are a flat lander. If you are in hill country added ballast makes for a much more stable tractor.

Re: Rear Tires
If you are loading them you will need tubes and, if you go that way, buy the heavy duty tubes. Also, I live in cold country here. I filled mine with beet juice as it will not freeze. Dave

Re: Rear Tires
If you will just be using a mower I would just put air in them, don't need the extra weight unless using a blade or a plow.
