  • It seems I might have done something to the lever for the hydraulic lift. I noticed the stop on the lever control was damage, so I removed the outside of what I think is called the retainer. Anyways, now there is no resistance in the lever and it will move freely and will drop down on it's own. Moving it up or down does not affect the lift.

So, what did I do? Friction plate needs adjusting? Or?

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • Terry, here's the parts breakdown for the lift lever. Did you lose the spring when you took it apart?

  • Suspect he is talking about 522. Towards the right hand side of the picture.

  • Ed,
Maybe my eyes are not working properly this morning, but I don't see a spring in that diagram.
