  • Hi

Seems the parts manual for Ford N series (1953 edition?) reprint from 1969 is missing from the manuals section. I lost the copy I had in a hard drive crash.

  • Dean-
I sent you the '69 MPC yesterday. It is 65 MB so if your mailbox isn't set up to receive a large file, it may not get there. Just curious as to what exactly you need. The 1969 MPC has some part descriptions and part number errors in it. This was a New Holland publication and they made up their own numbers on some. If you need an N-SERIES MPC, we have most in our MANUALS forum, and also the I&T FO-4 and FO-19 Manuals as well. In the 'Tractors' sub-section we have the Owner/Operator's Manuals as well for both the 8N and the NAA. In addition, get a copy of the 39-54 MPC from SEP 1953 for a good part reference guide. OEM Owner's Manual, I&T FO-XX Manual, and the '39-'54 MPC are your ESSENTIAL MANUALS. Anything else is not needed.

  • Hi Tim
Not in my inbox or in the reject log, will go poke around on the server and see if I can find it there.

Was looking to see what is supposed to hold the distributor drive gear onto the distributor shaft on a side mount 8N. Most I have worked on had pins, but this one was riveted. Had to drill the rivets out on the mill.

  • Yep, FO-19 Manual says OEM unit is riveted and to "file off and remove the drive gear retaining rivet and drive gear as shown..." when overhauling. Don't know if the 8N is the same but the FO-4 manual has the R&R info in it.

  • My 51 has hard pins, my 52 has rivets. I did not have any pins the right size, so I made some new rivets and got it working.
SN 8N472516 has NAA style upper lift arms but not the bulge for the larger reverse gear.Known to have been sitting at least 30 years since last used before I got it. It has some issues:-)

  • Actually, that parts manual was never in our Manuals library. It's always been offered on CD-ROM for a donation to this site. This website is manned by volunteers and uses donations to pay for hosting and other expenses. 100% of these donations go right back into keeping this site available for Ford tractor owners.

  • HiYa Dean-O...
I have the original and can send you a copy in an email. Contact me - mine is open. It's in pdf so you need a version of ADOBE PDF X-Change Editor to open it. It's a free download ... instructions here somewhere...
