  • Accessing Archives
  • Unable to search the archives. Why? Dave

  • Since SlowDaddy moved us to a new platform, you cannot search the entire archives. You must choose a section of it at a time. Try it and see if it works better for you. Let us know if it does not.

  • Thanks Ed. It did work. Interesting. The reason I was searching the front main seal was because, after my last bush-hogging, I noted fresh oil on the front brush guard on the tractor. I have not investigated further but I will today. Dave

  • No cigar for me when I tried that:

    Hosting Server Read Timeout
HTTP 502 Unable to Connect to the Origin Server
Please try again in a few minutes

  • Could be. I'm at 351Mbps download and 12Mbps upload with Xfinity. I know if I put too many words into finding what I want, sometimes it times out. I think the shared server they moved us too is bogged down with too much traffic. Godaddy sucks for sure! Hard to make things work like we used to able to.

  • I dumped GoDaddy several years ago for a multitude of reasons. I moved my website to a small AWS virtual server which I control. Their pricing is competitive and I am a much happier customer. I dont know what sort of resources NTC requires but you might try provisioning an AWS server to see how the costs compare. I can assure you the LOS will be better

  • I'm sure it is a combination of my bandwidth and SlowDaddy "service" levels. On a bad day, I'm literally running about 1/100th of your speed. I can search the archives if I search a section at a time, but I time out every time I try to search the entire archives.
