  • Info on Ford N9 running on gas/kerosene
  • Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had info about Ford N9 that runs on gas/kerosene. Was there a USA factory produced Ford N9 that is gas/kerosene or is it a European thing?

    Thanks!

  • The dual-fuel models are far more prevalent in Europe but we do have a few over here. A friend of this site from Scotland sent us an owner's manual that may be helpful. It's in our Manuals library and you can click the link below to go right to it.

  • I accidentally ran my 8N on 3/4 diesel by grabbing the wrong fuel can. Surprisingly, even after it cooled off it barley started but ran okay once warm.

  • Not quite the same but in 1953 I drove a 1941 Mercury 10 miles on heating oil. No power but transportation.
