  • i have a 53 Golden Jubilee with a lift problem. i beleive it is the back pressure control valve. i can take the Acorn nut of the side and push in on it and the lift raises.
Also if this turns out to be the problem what would be the part# and where could i find one.

  • Re: Hydraulic Problem
  • That is an indication that the unloading valve is stuck and will require removing the lift cover.

  • Mark, the unloading valve you are referring too is it the one behind the acorn nut that i am pushing in on. The link you included in your answer says item #4 that is a plug. #6 in the diagram is the control valve.

  • Re: Hydraulic Problem
  • Sorry about that, item #6 is the unloading valve. The valve behind the acorn nut is the back pressure valve and that is not where the problem is.

  • You can order it from the Case New Holland website that Mark posted with the parts diagram.

  • You probably don't need to replace it. Just clean it up and install a new oring. Make sure it moves freely before reassembling the top cover.
