I took my lower side plug out of my 2n transmission how does it go back in?

The plug has an extension that goes through the case, reverse idler support and reverse idler shaft to hold the shaft in place. Take you a small screwdriver, stiff wire etc. to try to find and align the holes. Be gentle try not to move the shaft forward, backward or rotate very much. Transmission in neutral or gear when you removed it.

I removed the lower side plug on my transmission on my 2n now it wont go back in.

Take you a small screwdriver, pin, wire etc. about four inches long to realign the hole in the shaft and support. Be gentle try not to move the idler shaft forward or backward or rotate very much.
