Ford N-series radiator replacement
I have an old 2N ford tractor that has not been running for quite a while. At least five years. And when refilling the radiator, I found that it leaks quite badly. The radiator cap was also missing for years while the radiator sat empty. After talking with a mechanic friend, he said it may be a good idea to replace the entire radiator. So, my question is, what are other people's success rate on new radiators for these tractors? And are there any specific suppliers/brands that yall would recommend? Thanks

Re: Ford N-series radiator replacement
Any thing at Just8n's seems to be ok, and dont cheap out. buy at least the one that will take the original fan shroud. I live in texas, and that thing is almost mandatory. Steiner seems to be ok as well. Dont buy Chineesium! Eaterbay is NOT your friend in this case... MTP... night !

Re: Ford N-series radiator replacement
Have your OEM radiator repaired or (if not repairable) re-cored by a good radiator shop (Yes, I know that radiator shops are few and far between, but some still exist.) Insist that the shop use a proper flat-finned industrial core. You will be glad that you did.

Re: Ford N-series radiator replacement
I would seek the opinion from a radiator shop on a recore job. Shops are hard to find but are out there. That would give you a better quality radiator than a new one.
