engine
Hey everyone. My 1950 8N got hot and water and steam was blowing out somewhere below the water pump. I've had it for about 6 months and it's my first tractor. It has oil in the radiator. Not in the engine oil. I don't know if it's the original engine. It's always has had a small miss in it but has lots of power. Now with the oil in the water, maybe its time for a replacement. Does anyone know if there are rebuilt engines available? I'm fearing the worst for my tractor. I'm 78 and love my tractor.

Re: engine
My 8N has oil film in radiator for a decade or more. I expect it is result of a head gasket leak, but not enough to be noticeable in performance. Oil past rings, past gasket into water. I stopped worrying about it long ago.
