spark plug air pump
I have an imperial spark plug air pump which doesnt have clearance to use on an n series because of the gas tank. Did the ford units have an elbow to get around this?

Re: spark plug air pump
The EngineAir tire pump sold by Ford dealers had an adaptor that replaced the spark plug so fit under the gas tank without clearance issues:

Re: spark plug air pump
Thanks for the info, both the illustrations and the ebay unit look just like the one I have. I will give it another try in the next day or so. It just really seemed to kink the hose too much on the first try.

Re: spark plug air pump
tighter fit than i would like but it works great. the adapter really heats up, gloves would be helpful when removing to replace spark plug

Re: spark plug air pump
Thanks for coming back and confirming that it works. I just sent you an email that shows the parts needed to adapt an elbow fitting for compression testers. You may be able to use the info to make one for your tire inflator.
