  • Bought an old 1952 Ford 8N last week. I haven't worked on one since my grandpa's old Ford 8N tractor about 25 years ago. (The memories are probably why I bought it.) It has certainly been interesting, I only paid $500, but she needs a ton of work. My first hump was to try to find a steel oil line from the Governor to the Oil Filter for a 1952. Apparently they are semi-hard to find and everyone except (just8ns.com) were sold out. Got it ordered so another week or so before I can get her running. Been working on it about a week now.

Just saying hi, as I'm sure I'm going to get myself into some stuff I do not know.

    Jamie

  • If you haven't already, download all the manuals/parts catalog from the manual's section of this website that pertains to your tractor. You mentioned Just8ns, I'm assuming you know of Dennis Carpenter https://www.dennis-carpenter.com and Steiner's steinertractor.com. Yesterday's tractor also sells parts: https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/Ford-Tractor-Parts.html
