I have a 53 Ford NAA. I understand that the rear axle housing has gasket where it mates to the rear differ housing. This gasket is needed to have proper preload on differential bearings. If one swaps out an axle housing, will the tolerance be okay with the gasket? How good is the tolerance between manufactured rear housings and various axle housings?
