    I was looking around at n tractor history and wondered up to what serial number did the 39 9N's have aluminum hoods?

    The first 700 or so '39 9N Ford-Ferguson tractors came with the aluminum hoods. Many are still around but extremely hard to find one for a restoration job. Click on the link below to go to John Smith's web site under Tractor ID/History. He has put together some very good info on all the N-Series tractors.
