  • FORD B-24 Liberator
  • An e-mail that I received today. Many of these pictures I have never seen before. I lived less than a mile as the crow flies from Willow Run and the bomber plant from 1943 to 1950.

  • If you look to the bottom right of each picture there are comments as to what you are looking at. I also look to the background of many of the photos because they look north and or east and show some of the support buildings that were there. One was a wooden hanger that was occupied by the fledgling Yankee Air Force in 1981, later the Yankee Air Museum.
