FORD B-24 Liberator
An e-mail that I received today. Many of these pictures I have never seen before. I lived less than a mile as the crow flies from Willow Run and the bomber plant from 1943 to 1950.

If you look to the bottom right of each picture there are comments as to what you are looking at. I also look to the background of many of the photos because they look north and or east and show some of the support buildings that were there. One was a wooden hanger that was occupied by the fledgling Yankee Air Force in 1981, later the Yankee Air Museum.
