Things that go bump in the night.
Now I am curious as to a few things.
Some good, some maybe not so good, and I suppose this falls under one of those categories somewhere.
I imagine a few folks have been through them and a few others have seen them and most everyone have at least seen the results.
I have taken to the notion that a tornado and for that, in fact, most every other natural disaster, is just another opportunity for "Urban Renewal".
Yep. A structure gets destroyed and it's just an opportunity to Build Back Better.
I heard there is a political group proposing this however there aren't any great natural disasters where they think they are going to accomplish that action.
So, Looking at tornadoes you have to acknowledge the tendency for a tornado to hit a mobile home park.
It seems those structures in particular, metal or otherwise, are a natural magnet for tornadoes.
Why not homeless camps? Then again, if a tornado ever did go through a homeless camp, could you ever really tell the difference?
What is a homeless camp? Other than unstructured urban development? I believe that if a tornado ever did hit an unstructured urban development zone, it would just give the residents an opportunity to gather it all up again.
Wind blown dry cleaning with minimal property loss. Those locations however generally don't make the news due to a lack of sensationalism.
A tornado in an unstructured urban development area can be simply referred to as "Moving day" or perhaps an "Unscheduled vacation".
Yes. Instead of you taking a vacation away from your residence, it takes a vacation away from you. When you leave your residence it doesn't really know when you will return. A tornado just allows your residence the same opportunity.
I suppose then it could be said that a tornado is an equal opportunity employer.
that should make the "Build Back Better" people happy. maybe then they will give out a "participation award" for allowing your residence to take a vacation. You could hang it on the front entrance to your next residence.
"Domicile Relocation Participant Award" along with the year participated in that program.
However doing that may negate future participation in that program again.
That may or may not be, a good thing.
