My 47 2N has a crank adjusted leveler on the 3pt. It was generously over lubed by Moses just about the time they got past the Red Sea. Ok not quite. But it is stuck. Is there a preferred way to remove the fossilized lube from the adjuster? And what is the right name for the part?

It happens, I call them leveller boxes. My last fossilized one was just a couple of months ago, grease was hard as rock. I got a spray can of brake cleaner, removed the box, took the grease zerk out and using the straw on the brake cleaner nozzle sprayed it in the zerk hole and slowly the solid grease will all wash out. When it spins easily rinse, dry add new grease and its good to go.
