  • It's a good day in Virginia
  • Virginia's Republican Party finally presented the "big tent" that they have talked about for years and swept the top three offices in the State. We have elected a real-deal businessman for our Governor, our first black female Lt. Gov., and our first Hispanic-American Atty. Gen. And, we picked up 6 new seats in our House of Delegates to take control of that. State Senate races will be next and we can start undoing some of the sketchy voter laws that Lord Ralphie signed and get back to normal in Virginia.

At the precinct where I serve as an Election Officer, we had a 67% turnout. Typically we may get a 50% turnout on a state election. This was closer to a slower Presidental race in turnout. I've been an Election Officer for almost 20 years and it was the first time that we still had a long line of voters when I closed the polling place at 7pm.

It's a good day in Virginia, and the Dems should be very worried about the mid-term elections next year.

  • You can thank the brandon administration. Without them, Virginia would still be just as blue and liberal as the rest of the northeast.

  • The liberal media also contributed to McAuliffe's defeat
  • If the publicís trust in traditional media hadnít dipped to historic lows, Terry McAuliffe could very well be Virginiaís governor-elect right now.

Without the erosion in support from the Cronkite era to today, the mainstream media would continue to own the political narrative.

Instead, thereís been an explosion in conservative alternatives to the legacy media in the generation since Fox News debuted.

  • He's done, Dean. Yeah, he hired Marc Elias who is a pro legal lizard at contesting elections (but has a sketchy background). But, even WaPo has called it for Youngkin. They won't find enough votes in Fairfax County to overcome Youngkin's lead. Terry "the punk" can huddle back up with the Clintons and whine about it.

  • Take me home to 'ol Virginny!!! Look out socialists, 2022 will be your wake up call. Of course they won't concede until they demand a recount, blame the election was rigged, blame Trump, blah blah blah. New Jersey, allegedly, too close to call. Wisconsin votes down defund the police. Ol' Joe is cleaning his Depends, again, this morning. Let's hope these swings will make a difference now.
