  • I wish I had the presence of mind to take a picture of this. The other day I was driving down the road in my old neighborhood, when I saw a EV sitting by the side of the road with 2 orange cones next to it and no driver around. My first thought is: Are those cones standard equipment?

  • I understand that new models will come out with extra batteries to warm the rear bumper to make it more comfortable to push them in cold weather...

  • Good one Ed! One of the selling points for these vehicles is that you are not using any energy when you are sitting in backed up traffic on the interstate for hours. However, the reality is that you are seldom sitting in conditions that donít require either the heater (Up here) or the air conditioner. These will drain the battery fast.

  • I liked the comment. . .

"So the horse breathes and emits C02. That C02 is absorbed by grass (and trees). The horse then eats the grass that absorbs the C02 and it is called a cycle.

So if you plant more trees instead of clear cutting, you could also induce more C02 absorption and curb "Global warming"/Climate change then, correct?

Elephant in the room and no one is talking about it.
"Experts" that can't see the forest for the trees is more like it."

  • Bruce,

Just pure propaganda for the uninformed that are to busy watching Netflix and and playing on their phones than engaging in critical thinking and reading on critical subjects.

  • Sooooooooooooo........
  • How many more coal-fired (or nuke or ???) power plants will they need to generate the electricity to power all those EV's? How many fast chargers will be needed to keep all of them running? How much MORE electricity will need to be generated to supply those fast chargers???? France has plenty of nuke power, but Germany still uses a number of coal-fired power plants.
