    Widely available and quite common, chlorinated Brake Cleaners must not be used for cleaning metals to be welded.

    added safety tip always wear an approved vapor mask when welding, disposable treated cotton masks are avalible at any welding supply shop, is your life worth the $15 dollars you spend for a box of vapor masks???

    Thankyou for the link, I don't know if I would have ever done that anyway , but it never hurts to learn anything about safety.
