  • Original 801 Series Tools?
  • Hello,
I couldn't help myself and bought a set of original tools for my 8N at the recent Fall Harvest Days show in Union Grove. I'm really glad to have them.

I got me thinking though about what tools were included with my 1958 861. I've found lots of information for the n-series tractors but can't find any info for the x00 and/or x01 series tractors. Anyone know what I should be on the lookout for my 861 (or if any tools were included)? Thanks!

  • Yeah, by the time the Hundred Series Tractors were out, a new owner only got the 9N-17014 Plow Wrench and the spark plug socket and handle for the OHV engines. Some of the other tools were available at the dealer but several had been obsoleted by then as well, for cars and trucks too.

  • Bryan, according to the '53-64 dealer parts book, it would have come with:

9N-17014 11/16" x 1" open end wrench (aka plow wrench)

Assuming yours is not diesel, it would have also included:

NCA-17094-A Handle - spark plug socket wrench
313359 Wrench - spark plug socket

    Hope this helps.............Ed
