Lets talk about magnifying glasses
I have been trying to find a good hand held lens for some time now and just can't seem to find one. All I need is a 10 power lens, 4" in diameter I can make my own handle for it. Anybody know where there is good source for a magnifying glass or handheld lens? I do not want a loupe they are to hard to focus.

How come I still can't find good magnifying glass? Edmunds was one of the first places I called.

Amazon has a bunch of them.
I found one I like that came with an led light, has a base and a flex shaft that holds the lens and another flex shaft that holds the light.
I think it came from Tuesday Morning.

You tried Magnifier.com yet Dan? I bought one (it is 4" in diameter) from them for my better half and she says it works just fine to read tiny print and numbers on engineering drawings. I've seen 'em also on e-Bay in the past.
