  • Who got tools for Christmas???
  • A few years ago I said just give me simple tools for Christmas. This year I got a 4 piece Ryobi set with drill, light, saws all, and circular saw. Came with 2 batterys and charger. Nice.

  • If I had a hammer, I'd hammer in the morning...
  • I got me one of these nifty adjustable hammers. Haven't tried it out yet. Looks interesting.

  • My son bought a HF tire changer last fall & said it was so much easier than the old 2 wrecking bar & a screwdriver method that he got me one for Christmas. Not really anxious to try it yet while my shop is in the deep freeze (-19 yesterday!)!

  • We have single digits here which is cold enough for me. I cannot imagine -19. The coldest I have ever ben was on a mountain skiing in Vermont. It was -8 if I remember right.
Does that tire changer gave a bead breaker? I have a couple of trailer tires on galv rims that I just cannot get loose.

  • Steve, yes it does. Have not used it yet, but son says it works well! Check item #62317 or #69686.

  • Nice Steve! I asked for a new stihl chain saw. It had to be ordered and might show this week. No wood to cut right now, but I'll be ready.

  • Stihl is about the best you can get, so worth the wait. We have one down at the river that is 25 years old and runs like a champ..

  • I've had stihl since 1979. Tried a jonsered a couple of years ago. Very hard to start the jonsered. It is a smaller model with 16' bar for limbing and small stuff. Runs fine after started. Maybe the primer bulb and stricter air emissions are part of the problem.
