Expanding Pliers
I needed a tool that would fit inside and spread something open. I was trying to reassemble a rifle and couldn't get anything to work. After a lot of looking I found these expanding pliers. Ordered a pair and I must say I'm impressed with the quality. Should have got a pair 40 years ago. https://www.expandingpliers.com/

That is how I felt about snap ring pliers.

Yep, they're handy to have around. ...You may not use them often, but when you do, it's hard to find a substitute.
