Here's the nomenclature of standard finishes for nuts, bolts, washers, and fasteners from the September, 1952 MPC. The suffix "S" followed the part number.
=> Example:P/N 33806-S34...5/8-18 Hex Nut; S34 denotes case hardened/cadmium plated.
