OK, rookie mistake #1---start swapping out old parts with new when non-starting issues occur. Problem solve, don't guess. Putting all new parts in without knowing what the true root cause problem is results in may get lucky and happen on the problem but usually just places more unknown issues added to the equation. FUEL/SPARK/COMPRESSION - 3 essential steps needed to functioning. Concentrate on first two as usually is one or both of them. Just buying a new carb and now not knowing if it has been properly tested and set is not smart. New parts from Cheena are NEVER tested and pres-set. Rebuilding the OEM parts is ALWAYS the smartest way to go. Doesn't crank or doesn't start when cranked? First thing would be to get battery tested at a shop. Specific gravity. Needs to maintain a full charge under load. Next, Fuel Flow Test. You say you have no gas when you pull drain plug on carb. Is Valve open 2 -turns when you did that? If so, did you then pull fuel line off carb and repeat? Yes, and Still no fuel flow? Problem is in the fuel system, not carb. Should have left carb alone. Since it is off, can rebuild OEM carb, set to initial settings and put it back on. Is it a OEM 6V/POS GRN system, a front mount or a side mount distributor? Or did you do one of those 12V swap out jobs? Mucked up wiring is 99.98% of all non-starting issues. Get your ESSENTIAL MANUALS out and start with basics- FUEL FLOW must be done first while your battery is at shop being tested. Don't have the ESSENTIAL MANUALS? Shame and you wanna be an N Owner? Get them as they are the best tool investment you can make for your tractor. If you have a 12V job, go to HOW-TO's here and download 'WIRING PICTOGRAMS by JMOR' and get a copy of '75 Tips for N Owners by Bruce(VA)'. STOP BUYING NEW PARTS - you probably don't need them. Fix fuel issue. Verify Wiring is all correct before you do any more cranking.
