Glow plugs are used on diesel units. Do you have a diesel engine? In cold weather I'd be more concerned with the electrical system than fuel system. Got gas? Carb and SED BULB tested and working when it was warm out? Then worry about how well the battery was maintained and if it sustains a full charge under load. Do you have it on a float charger like a Battery Tender? A basic trickle charger won't do. Search the archives here for much on the topic already discussed.
