UN converting 12 volt

I just bought my first 8n. It has been converted to 12 volt, but given the other “improvement s” the po did I am not confident that it was done right. Say this: it starts and runs. Would you put the 6 vt stuff back? What problems am I going to see?

I hate the shiny alternator poking out behind the radiator 🤨
