I am in the process of bringing back a very late 9N. Serial #98991 and the first thing I did to it was remove the 12 volt alternator and conversion. I have 2 alternators on the shelf now and have no problems with a 6 volt system if properly maintained. Everyone has their preferences an I respect that.
