It seems I might have done something to the lever for the hydraulic lift. I noticed the stop on the lever control was damage, so I removed the outside of what I think is called the retainer. Anyways, now there is no resistance in the lever and it will move freely and will drop down on it's own. Moving it up or down does not affect the lift.

So, what did I do? Friction plate needs adjusting? Or?

Any advice will be appreciated.
