In addition to heating the ring gear in the oven, try placing the flywheel in a chest freezer for 24 hrs. Make sure the ring gear teeth are facing the right direction, all parts are clean and free of burrs and work quickly.

My wife gets PO at me when I wash parts in the dish washer. No biggie right?
