Front Mount Distributor Coil Relocation

It is time to do something about the ignition coil on my 48N.

I see a document in the how to section regarding the relocation of the coil on a front mount distributor. There isn't much in the way of descriptive text, some of the pictures leave me with more questions than answers.

I like the idea of making a platform to mount something to attach the coil wire to, rather than gutting a bad coil, as getting the coil out of the mix simplifies things.

So what material was used for the platform? It looks like some fiber reinforced plastic.

How is it attached? I see a couple screws in the picture, but there aren't any details. I see on my distributor there is one threaded hole (I think that is where the condenser used to mount?), but it would take more than one screw to hold the piece securely to ensure good contact with the cap.

What is used for the plug wire connection to the distributor cap?
