I have a 1957 Ford 640 with the TSX-580 carburetor that uses the banjo bolt to mount the sediment bowl to the carb. I bought a new fuel line from Just8Ns and it fits the current sediment bowl. I bought a replacement, new sediment bowl that is listed for this tractor that uses the 3/8 inch banjo bolt. But the inlet for the fuel line is about a half inch too low for the fuel line to thread into.
Has anyone else ran into this problem with this type setup with the Ford 600 series tractors? And if so, did you find the right sediment bowl? Or work arounds?
Thanks.
