It's the economy. Folks are worried about paying for their home, groceries, gas, electricity, etc. They do not have the discretionary funds to buy things they may want but not need. Here in central Virginia, it's hard to get $1,500 for a nice 8N. 2000/3000/4000 "worker" models are going for $2,000-$3,500 where they used to go for double that. It wasn't that long ago that the nice 541 you are selling would have brought $5,500. Mary and Junior really didn't have a choice as to their timing but now is not the time to sell if you don't have to.
