Well, maybe.

Already several ships have sailed through the straight including at least one Chinese owned tanker without intervention by the US Navy. It appears that the so-called "blockade" is quite porous.

I predicted that both Russia and China would test the resolve of the US bolckade but did not expect it to happen within 24 hours.
