Coast is bad, inland is good. Same in Washington. Once you get east of the Cascades, politics turn red, although I understand Spokane might have turned blue. In California, the coast rules but north of Sacramento it turns red. The central valley and desert areas are generally red. Movements in Oregon and California to split the state don't offer much promise. Eastern Oregon has talked about joining Idaho. God is great; beer is good and people are crazy.
