I knew a man in Potter Valley, California that was standing on the front of a machine being pulled through a field with the PTO running. He was wearing coveralls that were unfastened up the front because it was hot. His left leg swung into contact with the shaft as they hit a bump and the pant leg of his coveralls caught on the shaft. He felt himself being pulled in and grabbed some framework above and behind him. The shaft pulled most of the coveralls right off of him as the material wrapped around it. Other than being emberassed at his state of undress, he was unscathed.
