The axle brackets require one to bend 1/2" Grade 50 plate to 90* - NO WELDING those parts, and it does NOT specify 1/2" angle iron. Parts #1, #2, #3, and #4. Also Part #12 requires 3/8" Grade 50 plate to be bent; again NOT angle iron or welded pieces. I had considered building this; but, I have no means to bend that plate properly. Heating to bend removes the characteristics of the metal. I have priced out the iron and fabrication costs, and it is less expensive to buy one specifically manufactured for the 8N. With the ROPS, you must install the seat belt. The ROPS and seat belt combination is designed to keep one within the protected area. No seat belt, and you may very well be crushed or injured by the ROPS on top of you. zuhnc
