a message to indicate that those lines are quoting the previous document.

text in followups" is not used, the Comments field
is left blank when posting a followup.

Why do I see (pic) and (url) in the message lines on the index
page?
If you see (pic), it means there
is a picture in the message and if you see (url),
it means there is a link in the message. These are shown next to the title
of the post on the index page after entering information into the Optional
Link URL or Optional Image URL fields.

What is the [+] next
to the subject of my post?
The [+] next to the subject of a thread means to expand the thread. By
clicking on the [+} it takes you to page showing the initial posted message
and all the replies of that message.

Why am I seeing multiple posts of the same thing after I post a message?
Most often this happens when you double click the "Post a Message"
button or you hit the "Post a Message" button more than once
by mistake. You need to only hit the button once. During peek hours of
the day, some posts may take awhile for the software to write the pages
to the server. Be patient while this is happening. Hitting the "Post
a Message" button again before the page is written to the server
will result in multiple posts.
[Return]
What does the [URL] mean next to the time of day in posts?
The [URL] is a link to the current page shown. By clicking
on it, the page will open in a full browser window to display the URL
address in the address bar of your browser. This is useful when wanting
to email the specific page or link to someone. You can also right-click
on the [URL] link and choose "Copy Shortcut" (IE),
or "Copy Link Location" (Firefox), and paste that into anything
you want. The [URL] link will also show on the expanded
thread pages.
[Return]
What does the [DELETE]
mean next to [URL] in posts?
The [DELETE] link is used to notify the NTC admins that a message
needs reviewed and/or deleted. Use this when there are double posts, spam, and "not so nice" messages. Click the [DELETE] link
for the message in question. Fill out the form and submit it for review.
Please use the additional comments box to let us know why it is to be
reviewed for deletion.
