I almost wonder if this is a serious question.
Is this engine in a 5000?
Is it 233 cubic inch or 256 cubic inch displacement? They switched to the larger displacement in 1968.
If it is a 233 - 4.2" bore the clearance should be .0075 -.0086
If it is a 256 - 4.4 bore the clearance should be .0080 - .0090
I suppose .0080 would work across the board.
But this info is extrapolated from a 3 cylinder Ford which used the same bores and strokes as the 4 cylinders did so don't take my reply as gospel. I would get myself a manual instead.
