14-73 Mower
Setting up a 14-73 on a 2N. Last time I was around one of these was in the mid 1940's! Had to make the Extension Brackets and Anchor Straps. Finally have it on the tractor and knife cycles. Attempting to adjust the Balance Spring. Nothing in the instructions tells me if this is done with the sickle bar lowered with the mower lowered in cutting position or if it is done with everything ready for transport, or some other configuration! Does anyone have one of the Dearborn mowers working someplace between Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and Des Moines or even by some devious route? Thanks, Jack
