  • Farm Implements for Sale
  • Thinking about selling some of the Neff farm implements. Though sentimental, it's time to part with these due to lack of use. We also need to clean out a building so we can restore it.

Any ideas on a price for a planter, 2 hay wagons, 2 corn wagons, a grain bin wagon? BTW, the chassis on one hay wagon is interchangeable with the hay wagon bed. One pick shows the corn wagon sitting on the hay wagon.

    Thanks for look'n.

  • Those old rubber tired, spoked wheels would be fun to own. IF you could find new tires like those. I would build an ox cart type trailer of some sort with them for a wood hauler or maybe to give rides on.
I'm thinking they came off a manure spreader or maybe a grain drill.
    They are pretty neat.

  • Hard to price the stuff. The old grain drill might bring $100 for the wheels and scrap price for the rest. Wagons can be $50 to $2-300. Other stuff on the wagon probably scrap price. Any and all depend on luck of finding an interested buyer.
A friend turned everything over to an auctioneer and walked away rather than watch and cry. He and his wife moved into a condo and don't look back. That has me thinking.
    Good luck.

  • The wagon with the spoke wheels is built from an early to mid 30's Ford car. The wheels still have the hubcaps. You can see the differential and radius rods on the rear axle.

  • Those look like '35 Ford to me. '30 Model A's through 1935 were very similar. 36 went to the large center wheels that get confused with the N tractor wheels.
