  • Ford 8N Loader?
  • This loader supposedly came off a 8N. Can anyone identify it? The seller doesn't know what model or brand it is.

  • Appears to be a Wagner WF3 which could be mounted to an 8N if the mounting brackets are included but I dont see them in your pictures so buyer beware. The hoses look old and need replacement as well. This Ntractor website you posted to even has a manual for the loader which I linked below. Some folks use these big heavy loaders on their 8N without issue, and some say these big heavy loaders turn a nimble 8N into a clumsy hard to steer beast. Only you will know if you can live with a loader like this on your 8N if you get one mounted up.

  • The seller says he has the parts to the engine crank, but I wonder if he has the pulley and the front axle support. Also, he doesn't have the rear axle mounts, which probably would be hard to find. I'll probably pass on it based on not being sure I can obtain all the parts to mount it and make it functional.

  • Yes, it will fit an 8N, but without all the necessary parts, it's not worth fooling with.

I had one of these on an 8N and it is VERY heavy and hard to steer. ...I had a backhoe on the back which had considerable weight, but steering was still very hard.

I would not consider mounting any loader on an 8N without significant counterweight on the back.
