  • Three point lift
  • i have a '53 NAA and a '51 or '52 8N that on both of them the lift does not stay up. on My NAA it bounces while the tractor is running, and drops at a slow steady pace when i stop the engine. On the 8N that i haven't done much with yet it drops as quickly as it raises. I have read a little about the NAA and am leaning towards the safety relief valve? and i will have to lift off the cover to replace this? haven't looked too far into the 8N yet though.
i also have to replace the axle seals and hub on the NAA, leaks like crazy and the wheel slops back and forth. would anybody have a break down on the parts i will need to do this so i can have it all ready to go? thank you.

  • The lift cylinder and piston may be wore out on both tractors. You can look in the side cover and see. A bunch of fluid pouring down is a clue. You may be able to find a seal kit for the axle and hub replacment. You also may be able to put a washer under the axle nut as a temp fix. But be careful cash the wheel can fall off if not properly maintained. Also a chain kit to keep your implements at a constant height is another good fix.
